How to Screen Share and Add the Shared Screen to the Stage During your Webinar or Virtual Event

Within Welcome's webinar platform, anyone in the Green Room can share their screen within the Green Room. It is then up to the producer/staff to put that shared screen on the stage. 

To screen share, the user must hit the screen share button to the left of the Join/Leave Green Room button. When they click the button they will receive a pop up to select your desktop, application, or Chrome tab. 

Note: The screen share will count towards your user limit in the Green Room. You can have up to twelve (12) users in the Green Room at once. For example, if you have three users in the Green Room, and one of them shares their screen, it now counts as four users in the Green Room. 

To then display the shared screen on the stage, simply hover over the stage, check the box next to the shared screen, and select “Update Stage.”

You can also toggle on/off how you want a speaker and shared screen to be displayed at the bottom right of the stage.

If you also want to share audio you can check the "Share Audio" at the bottom left of the pop-up when sharing a Chrome tab or sharing a desktop for Windows devices.

Note: If sharing via a Mac device for the first time, you may need to alter your device's system preferences to allow Chrome access.
