Raise Hands Guide

Raise Hands is a feature that will allow attendees and speakers to notify the producer that they have a question.

How to Enable the Feature

  1. Go to the cogwheel in the right side bar
  2. Click the Raise Hands toggle

How Attendees and Speakers Use this Feature

Attendees will see this in the Q&A portion of the right side bar at the bottom

Once they click on Raise Hands the user will be prompted with a microphone and camera check just like if you were going into a green room. After the mic/camera check they will be informed that the producer has been notified and invite will be sent to the user when ready.

The Raise Hand button will now change to Lower Hand, if the producer denies the users request it will turn back to Raise Hand.

Producers View for Raise Hands

Producers will manage Raise Hands in the People tab of the right side bar. Something to note, you will see a display for how long the users Raise Hand request has been.

You will have 4 options when you hover over the person

  • Left Arrow - Send the person and invite into the Green Room
  • Text Bubbles - This is to send the person a Direct Message
  • 3 Stacked Dots - This will give you an option to Ban the user (This is permanent)
  • Circle with a Line - This will deny or dismiss the request
